BOBO&PLUSHIE
Bobo & Plushie is a game made for Game Boy Showdown 2023 in 7 days.
You play as Bobo, a penguin trying to find a new home for his plushie.
You need to find cookies scattered throughout the level in order to make your plushie stronger.
Controls :
A/Alt : Jump (hold for longer jump)
B/Ctrl + UP : Pick-up Plushie
B/Ctrl +Down : Drop Plushie
B/Ctrl (if all cookies have been collected) : Feed Plushie
Start/Enter : Start game
This is my first time making a game.
It was made using GB Studio 3.1, Tiled and Photoshop.
A big thanks to anyone who worked on those softwares, to the people who made tutorials and contributed to them.
Also, thanks to the people behind Game Boy Showdown 2023. It was a great way to get me to finaly try making a game and it was a lot of fun.
Thanks to anyone who took the time to play the game. I still can't believe I made something like this.

This is a gbc rom. You can play it using any gameboy color emulator (tested on vgba-m and BGB).

Yes ça marche. Je compte faire aussi un devlog en english pour garder une trace du processus et mes impressions (et aussi pour tester ça sur itch). Je ne sais pas si j'aurais le temps de l'écrire d'ici mardi soir mais y aura ptet ça aussi.
